Troubleshooting Guide

Problem性禁区: The motor is heard operating but the air-conditioner dose not work when the indoor unit is powered on

性禁区Cause: Since the air-conditioner is powered on, it will come to working condition as long as you press the ON/OFF button of the remote control and the signal is well received.

Problem: The compressor stops running but the indoor fan motor keeps working when it is at cooling mode with the indoor temperature higher than set temperature.

Cause: If you turn off the air-conditioner and restart it immediately, it will return to normal in 3 minutes, after that, the air-conditioner will automatically adjust the indoor fan speed to what you set.

Problem性禁区: The compressor works discontinuously at dehumidifying mode.

Cause: The air-conditioner will automatically control the working of the compressor according to the inside temperature

Problem: The air-conditioner dose not work while the LED display is on.

Cause: The TIMER is set with the air-conditioner,it will be in hold on condition. If the TIMER setting is cancelled, the air-conditioner will return to normal working condition.

Problem性禁区: The compressor works discontinuously at cooling and dehumidifying mode, and the indoor fan motor slows down.

Cause: The compressor stops internally or the fan motor slows down to prevent the indoor heat exchanger from being frozen.

Additional Information

  • The remote control will operate all the control panel features. Instructions will be the same.
  • The “COOL” circuit has an automatic 3 minute time delayed start if the unit is turned off and on quickly. This prevents overheating of the compressor and possible circuit breaker tripping. NOTE: The fan will continue to run during this time.
  • The control will maintain any set temperature between 60°F and 90°F (cooling), 55°F and 80°F (heating).
  • The control is capable of displaying temperature in degrees (Fahrenheit) or degrees (Celsius). To convert from one to the other, press and hold the UP and DOWN Temperature Selection Pads at the same time for 3 seconds.

Compressor

The compressor is hermetically sealed, permanently lubricated and requires no additional oiling.

Front Panel And Grille

性禁区The front panel and grille can be cleaned with a mild soap or detergent. Do not use hydrocarbon-based cleaners (e.g. acetone, benzene, naphtha, gasoline, etc.) to clean the front panel or grille. Use care when cleaning the control area. Do not use an excessively wet cleaning cloth.

Scheduled Ac Maintenance

To achieve continuing top performance and high efficiency, a regular cleaning/inspection性禁区 schedule must be established. Maintaining this schedule can be accomplished by either a local maintenance staff or an authorized service and must follow the instructions described in this manual.

  • If the unit is operated in a dusty climate, dust may collect in the base pan and clog the condenser coil. It is advisable to remove the unit from the sleeve and thoroughly clean the base pan and condenser coil on a periodic basis.
  • If the unit is installed ocean side or in a corrosive atmosphere, its life may be greatly reduced by the corrosive environment. Under these conditions, the unit should be removed from the sleeve and completely cleaned once a year. At that time any scratches or blisters on the painted surfaces should be sanded and repainted.

Air Conditioner Outdoor Coil Cleaning

性禁区The coils on the outdoor side of the air conditioner should be checked regularly. For cleaning outside coil, remove the 6 screws that mount the condenser coil top cover to condenser shroud.

Safety Cautions

  1. Do not use unit near gas appliance, fires or in the vicinity of flammable liquids.
  2. Do not let children put their fingers into the air outlet to avoid danger.
  3. Do not incline the unit more than 35° while moving the unit.
  4. Do not beat or extrude unit to prevent unit broken, do not vibrate the unit.
  5. Keep the unit two meters away from TV sets or radios to avoid the risk of electromagnetic interface.
  6. Do not use unit with the air outlet too close to walls or cover the outlet to avoid overheating.
  7. Do not use the unit in a very crowded room.
  8. Do not use the unit directly under sunshine to avoid surface color fading.
  9. Do not use the unit in water or near water to avoid leakage of electricity.
  10. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or similar qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
  11. when the room temperature is higher than 25 degrees, it is better not to use the heating function.

Special Guide Line

  1. Do not incline the unit more than 5° degree, if so, please turn off power supply immediately and ask for advice from your local dealer.
